Buttock augmentation , or the buttock implants give shape to your bottom by adding more volume to it. The implants help increase the volume of the buttocks, enhances its features, and balance the bodies of those who work extensively and their buttocks are not as developed as the muscles of the rest of the body.

Buttock augmentation is performed under general anaesthesia and require about 2-3 hours. You would need to stay for 2-3 days after the hospital before you can be discharged. An incision of about 2 or 3 inches is made along the crease of the buttock or where the cheek meets the back of the thigh.

The surgeon then creates a pocket and inserts the implants either under the muscle or on top depending on your shape and requirement. The implants are carefully placed above the sitting area so that there are no chances of implant shifting when you sit.

Candidates

If you are concerned about the lack of fullness or volume in your buttocks or the size and shape of it, are above 18, physically fit, mentally and emotionally stable, you are a candidate for butt augmentation.

Recovery

You will experience some pain and discomfort and will not be able to sit or lie on your backs for about two weeks after surgery. Swelling and discomfort in the buttock area will resolve within a few days. After 1 week you will be able to walk around normally and sit in relative comfort. You would be advised to take 2 weeks' off work and that you avoid strenuous exercise for at least 6 weeks.

You would need to stay at the hospital 3-4 days after the surgery and another week- ten days in India before you go back .
